Privacy, GDPR & compliance

Personal data is processed daily within every company. Whether it concerns personnel records, patient files or customer files, strict privacy regulations must be complied with. Incorrect handling of personal data entails risks, such as the chance of a hefty fine or reputational damage.

Privacy compliance

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on 25 May 2018. Our privacy specialists can check whether your organisation complies with the privacy regulations. We will be happy to help you with practical solutions to limit the possible risks. Examples include the implementation of the data breach notification obligation, the drafting of your organisation’s privacy policy, advice on the processing and security of personal data and the transfer of personal data to countries outside the EU.

In addition, our specialists can help you draw up various privacy documents, such as privacy statements and data processing agreements. Our specialists also have a great deal of experience in performing or supervising what are known as data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).
